Annual Day of Kindergarten section was celebrated in a grand manner on December 3, 2022 at the school campus. The programme commenced with a prayer song sung by the tiny tots of K.G. section. Very Rev Dr. Leslie Clifford D’Souza, Correspondent of Don Bosco & St Mary’s Educational Institutions presided over the function. Dr. Vijayendra Vasant, Dental Surgeon & District Commissioner, Bharat Scouts & Guides, Udupi was the Chief Guest. Rev. Fr. Rolwin Joy Aranha, Principal, MrsIrine Cardoza, Vice-principal, Mrs. Leena Machado, Secretary of Parish Finance Committee, Anson Nazareth, CPL of the School and Waylon Lobo, SPL of the school were present on the dais. Annual School Report was presented by Vice Principal and Prize distribution was done to all the students by the dignitaries on the dais. Being an eminent personality Dr. Vijayendra Vasant gave an apt message to the parents of the Kindergarten section. He highlighted the values taught by St. Don Bosco and gave a call to blend the morals inherent in different religions and requested the parents to inculcate the same in their wards. He emphasized the need for teaching the children to respect their teachers so that the parents will receive the same respect from them.

The correspondent in his Presidential address thanked and appreciated the parents for sending their children to Don Bosco School. He assured the parents that a holistic learning environment will be provided in the campus. He requested the parents to create an atmosphere at home to enable the child to grow with self-confidence and independence. He said do not expect cent percent marks but cent percent character. If a child grows with character, compassion and knowledge he will face any challenges in life. MrsTeenaShareenCorda introduced the Chief Guest. The Kindergarten kids, Riveka, Aysha, Sarah and Siyona welcomed the gathering. Shanaya, Hifz, Zehra and Delisha proposed the vote of thanks. Clare, Shamith, Shania and Rainan beautifully compered the programme.

The formal stage function was followed by a variety of cultural programme presented by the tiny tots. They have presented dances based on the theme save water, school life, happiness, rainbow colours. They mesmerized the audience through their butterfly, baby shark and jungle dances. The entire programme was well appreciated by the audience.
